Potrero Hill, San Francisco

A neighborhood guide for Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Officers responded to a report of a man sitting in the middle of the intersection of Carolina and 22nd.  When they arrived, the found the man sitting cross-legged right in the center of the intersection.  It was actually amazing that a car had not hit him because he could not be seen as drivers were approaching the intersection.  The man told officers that he had 22 beers.  During their interview with him, the man became enraged with a group of people that were standing a block away. He claimed that they were making fun of him. To the officers, they did not appear to be paying any attention to the man at all.  The man was eventually transported to SFGH and placed on the 72-hour psychiatric detention.
