Potrero Hill, San Francisco

On May 4, 2006 at 2:00 AM Officers Rodriguez and Correa were patrolling in the area of 25th and Pennsylvania when they saw a white Nissan 300ZX parked on the West Side of Pennsylvania. Remembering that a white 300ZX had attempted to run Officer Scott over earlier, the officers ran the plate and found that it was the same car. There was an African American male standing near the car that matched the suspect’s description. The officers approached the man and detained him. They then identified him as the driver of the Nissan that attempted to run over Officer Scott earlier in the evening. The suspect was transported to Bayview Station where he was booked on Assault on a police officer and reckless driving charges.
