20th and Connecticut, Purse Snatch
2 May 2006The victim was walking on 20th and Connecticut when the suspect walked up to her and grabbed her purse and a dress that she was holding in her hand. When the victim did not let go immediately, the suspect punched her twice in the face, cutting her lip in the process. The suspect then grabbed the purse and the dress and fled towards the housing projects on the backside of Potrero Hill.
The suspect is described as African American male, early 20’s, 5’10”, 160 pounds wearing a black cap, jacket and pants.
