Potrero Hill, San Francisco

A group of people returning from an evening out doubled parked to allow a companion to disembark.  As they allowed one of the victims were taking items out of the trunk they were approached by two individuals.  One of the suspects had a gun.  The suspects demanded the property from the victims.  One of the victims, a senior citizen, initially refused.  The suspect with the gun smacked her in the side of the head with the gun and took her purse from her.  The victims fearing for their safety gave their property to the suspects.

However, a break in the case occurred while the victims were being interviewed.  There was a report of a robbery and shooting on the 1000 block of Plymouth Avenue.  Some of the victims’ property was found in the area of this incident.  The property is undergoing forensic testing for a possible suspect.
