Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Plainclothes Officers Mustafich, Mallinger, and Solares were patrolling the Potrero Hill Housing Projects when they saw a man pry off a board that was covering a door to a vacant unit.  The Officers watched the man go inside and then moved in.  They made entry, found the man, and asked the man what he was doing there.  The man replied, “I am smoking crack, and my buddy is taking a shower.”  The officers found crack on the man.  He was subsequently arrested.  The man’s friend was not in the shower and escaped arrest.  It has not been determined if the man completed his bathing prior to the police arriving.
