Potrero Hill, San Francisco

Officers Chantal and Lavin, responded to the 700 block of Missouri Street regarding an assault. Upon their arrival they met with a man who stated that he stepped outside for a cigarette. He was standing outside when he was approached by a man. The man struck the victim in the eye with a baseball bat and said, “I am going to (explicative) kill you.” The suspect then fled on foot. As the suspect was fleeing the scene the male struck another victim, roommate to the first victim, in the shoulder with the bat. The victims said they do not know the man and a motive for the attack is unknown.
