Warrant Arrest

1 Nov 2005

Officer Sue Lavin, Homeless Outreach Officer, received a phone call (her
number listed below) from an area resident that advised her of homeless
individuals that were going in and out of an unoccupied building. In fact
these individuals break the locks to the building and put their own locks
on the doors.

When Officer Lavin, arrived on scene there were a few individuals
standing outside. Officer Lavin recognized a few of the individuals from
prior contacts and had advised them on prior contacts. One of the people
had an outstanding warrant.

The building owner arrived and said that the locks on the building
were not his. The locks were cut and entry was made. Another person was
inside that did not belong there. This individual even hooked up power
from an adjoining building.

The person inside was cited for trespassing and the other individual
was booked for the warrant.
