Danger in the dogpatch
29 Aug 2005Bayview Officer Batchelder and Singh responded on a report of a robbery. Upon arrival, they did not find anyone who had been robbed. They searched the area and at 18th St. and Minnesota, they found a man who said that he had got off the bus and began walking. As he walked, he heard the sound of someone running up behind him. He turned and saw the suspect 14 feet away running towards him. The suspect was holding a handgun. The suspect pointed the gun at the man and demanded money. The man complied. Officers searched the area with negative results. The suspect is described as: Black male, 22-25 yrs. old., 6’2”, 190 lbs., Black hair, wearing a black hooded jacket, dark blue jeans, and black shoes.
