5′0″ armed robbers
28 Aug 2005Bayview Officers Ferraez and Fowlie responded on a report of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, they met three victims who said that a group of five robbers attempted to rob them. The victims said that they were about to enter a residence when the five robbers approached them. One of the robbers had a gun and demanded money from the victims and threatened to shoot them. One of the victims spoke with the robbers, and then instructed his daughter to call the police. The robbers then fled.
A short time later, Officer Ferraez received a phone call from one of the victims. The victim said that one of the robbers was across the street. Plainclothes officers responded and detained the robber. A “cold show” was done. The victim identified the captured robber, a juvenile, as one of the five who initially tried to rob him. The four outstanding suspects are described as: Black males, 5’0”, 150 lbs., black hair, black shirt. One of the suspects was armed with a handgun.
